St Albans Medical Centre

Welcome to St Albans Medical Centre.

We have 6 doctors at St Albans Medical Centre. The partnership is contracted to Bournemouth and Poole Teaching Primary Care Trust to provide personal medical services to patients registered with us and patients temporarily residing within our practice boundary. Our patients number in excess of 10,000.

The doctors and our staff aim to provide medical care to the highest possible standard and to promote and improve the health of our practice population by providing the most appropriate range of services for their needs.

The partnership provides services from both the surgery at St Albans Crescent and from our satellite clinic at East Way and these are listed in detail later on in this website.

We are open 8.00am - 1.00pm and 2.00pm - 8.00pm Monday to Wednesday  then 8.00am - 1.00pm and 2.00pm - 6.30pm Thursday and Friday.

Between 1 and 2pm the surgery is open for emergency calls only. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. Appointments are available during the hours listed below. To book an appointment telephone 517333 and select option 2 or you can register to use our on-line service.

Outside Surgery Hours Out of hours services are commissioned by Bournemouth & Poole Teaching Primary Care Trust and are currently provided by the Urgent Care Service. If you are unwell at any time when the surgery is closed you should ring:  0845 600 10 13  A weekend walk in service is provided at the Boscombe and Springbourne Health Centre, Palmerston Road, Boscombe from 8am-8pm Saturdays and Sundays only.
